A bit of Rev flying on the Willamette River in downtown Portland, OR... This particular footage was taken on the east bank, just south of the Steel Bridge... There are two other suitable docks as well, one of which is far superior to the others.

Wind was variable 0-3, the dock can rock quite a bit sometimes when larger boats come through, but I absolutely LOVE flying over/in water and you can't beat the backdrop.

Japanese champions Air Rex compete in the ballet event during the 2008 World Sport Kite Championships. Thirteen teams from seven nations are participating.

Sport kites are two line maneuverable kites. Teams are made of from three to six members. Ballet is judged 60% on choreography (matching maneuvers to music) and 40% on execution (how well maneuvers are performed).

The 2008 WSKC was held in Berck France. Gerard Clement was the general organizer and David Gomberg the International Committee Chairman.
